Volunteer

Volunteering with the Hot Springs County Senior Citizens Center is very easy and flexible! You can volunteer once a month, once a week, or whatever best fits your schedule. There are several different ways you can help here at the Senior Center.

Delivering Meals
When you volunteer for home delivered meals, you not only bring much needed nutrition but also a friendly greeting, a safety check and a chance at continued independence! Home delivered meals are delivered by 12 - 14 volunteers daily. Delivering meals typically takes only 60-90 minutes of your time.

Volunteer Drivers
The volunteer drivers help seniors get to medical appointments out of town. We take people to Casper, Worland, Cody, and Riverton. Rides for veterans to VA facilities are available upon approval. Approval takes approximately 24 - 48 hours after we receive your initial information. Rides are available to veterans Statewide upon approval. This is usually an all day trip, once or twice a month.

Volunteer Around the Center
You can help make people feel welcome, get them signed in for meals and activities, help with carrying trays for seniors, help prepare bags for home deliveries, and help with decorating or maintenance. You can spend as much or as little time as you'd like. We are always glad for your help.

Lead an Activity Group
Is there something you and your friends enjoy doing, but you need a place to meet? Consider leading an activity or group at the Senior Center. We are always interested in providing fun things to do.
